With a wealth of expertise in creating exquisite dining experiences, Meraki was opened by Peter Waney in 2017 after seeing a gap in the London restaurant market for a new Greek dining concept. Along with his brother, Arjun, the Waney family started their restaurant career in London a quarter of a century ago, beginning with Zuma and Roka. More recently, the Waney family acquired and revamped the award winning, internationally renowned ‘The Arts Club’ on Dover Street, as well as Oblix at The Shard and Coya.
Our food philosophy celebrates quality and innovative dish creations, scouring Greece’s regions to find the most tantalising ingredients, for a memorable dining experience! Our menu features chargrilled meats, whole fish dishes, and mouth-watering mezze plates. Meraki describes the action to fulfil a vision with unwavering devotion, representing a part of ourselves in every step of the creative process. This ties in with our ethos, the principle of Greek hospitality (Xenia) of compassionately extending the same hospitality to a humble stranger as you would to a celebrity. The human element and social responsibility is deeply ingrained in the family’s value system and practices.
